DAYS AND DAYS (2025)
Days & Days (2025) is an experimental 2D animated short film that investigates the subjective, lived reality of psychosis from an "inside-out" perspective, directly challenging the stigmatizing, "outside-in" portrayals prevalent in mainstream media. Developed as the primary creative artifact of a practice-based research project, the film synthesizes classical surrealist strategies—most notably Salvador Dalí's Paranoid-Critical method—with a framework of psychosis as an over-reflective, hyper-conscious state. By employing "haptic visuality" alongside distorted, asynchronous sound design, the animation aims to translate internal experiences of paranoia, sensory overload, and identity dissolution into a tangible, sensory event. Ultimately, Days & Days aims to bridge aesthetic innovation and social empathy, advancing a nuanced, humanized model for mental health representation in contemporary animation.
Days and Days has been recognised with awards from ÂME International Film Festival and JhaJha International Film Festival, alongside the Best Animation award at the Fly Creator Excellence Awards (FCEA) and Innovative Narrative award at the Mind Mosaic Arts Festival. It has been officially selected by 10 + film festivals.
RANDOM LOOPS
Here’s a collection of character-driven looping animations I created during a phase of experimentation. These were made while I was actively trying to figure things out, testing different styles, refining my animation techniques, exploring movement, and developing my overall approach to
character work.
Each piece served as a small playground for ideas, where I focused on bringing quirky personalities to life through smooth, endless loops. They capture that fun, exploratory stage of the creative process and show the evolution of my animation style.
